While I have enjoyed taking all these tours, over the course of time I have noted that these tours take significant time, energy, and effort to arrange. Unlike most tourist attractions, the tours vary a lot in availability. Some tours listed in this booklet are available on most days at frequent intervals throughout the day. Some are available at least once a day. Occasionally the tours are only offered a few times a year. They are also frequently canceled.

Trying to schedule a vacation around these tours may be difficult. Sometimes you?ll find yourself backtracking to meet the tour?s schedule. One weekend, I traveled from San Francisco to Napa to Oakland in one day to accommodate the schedule of the tours I wanted to visit and then the next day went to Livermore, San Jose, and Antioch (in that order).
